Tecno-Promesas                                                                        2001

The hollow promises of information technologies were the subject Tecno-Promesas: Putografia Virtual, a multimedia installation and exhibition that focused on the dark side of the information age.  The installation incorporated video, sound, digital art, lights and mixed media objects that entirely filled both exhibition spaces at the Galería de la Raza. Enveloped in darkness, the installation was dramatically lit from the glow of discarded computer monitors and other disposable debris of the information age. Produced by Los Cybrids: La Raza Techno-Critica (1999-2003: Praba Pilar, John Leaños, René Garcia) and presented at Galeria de la Raza.
