Somos Digitales                                                                        2001

First in a triptych series Somas Digitales is a 10-foot by 24-foot digital mural that explores the leap of faith society makes in adopting new technologies and in blindly following the siren call of marketers, technologists and information technology technophiles.  Originally presented in San Francisco at Galeria de la Raza as part of their Outdoor Digital Mural series this piece was created by Los Cybrids: La Raza Techno-Critica (1999-2003: Praba Pilar, John Leaños, René Garcia).
