Milicos                                                                                     2000-2003

Inspired by the training exercises practiced by the US military in the middle of American cities, Milicos created an immersive experience that plunged the audience into the center of a military invasion.  Because the military is now extensively digitally dependent, the invading soldiers become blubbering children when their LAN systems fail, their VR goggles lose connection, and their web connection is severed.  Performed and created by the collaborative Los Cybrids: La Raza Techno-Critica (1999-2003:  Praba Pilar, John Leaños, René Garcia).
